Hello!
Dear Mill Creek Elementary Families,
The 2024-25 school year is here, and I’m excited to get things rolling! On behalf of the PTA Board of Directors, I want to extend a warm welcome to all our new and returning families. My name is Tara Kyle, and I’m honored to serve as your PTA President this year. With two kids at Mill Creek Elementary, I’m grateful to be part of this community and look forward to working together to make this school year a success.
A Heartfelt Thank You. Before we dive into the new year, I want to thank the previous PTA and its leadership for all their amazing work. Their dedication and hard work have left a lasting impact on our school and have set a high bar for what we can achieve together. I’m thankful for the foundation they’ve built, and I’m committed to continuing their legacy of excellence.
Our Mission. Our PTA’s main goal is to support our students, teachers, and families by sponsoring events and programs that meet the needs of our diverse community. We strive to create a welcoming and inclusive environment where everyone is engaged and empowered. Through financial support and dedicated volunteers, we enhance educational opportunities and advocate for the well-being and education of all children.

2. Make a Donation
Our main fundraising event, Cougar Craze, kicks off Tuesday, September 17th with an ice cream social. It’s a great way to start the year, and we hope to see you there!
3. Volunteer
We’ll be hosting various events throughout the year aimed at enriching our children’s school experiences. There is a role for everyone, no matter how much time you have to give. Your ideas, time, talents, and voice are invaluable and appreciated.
4. Stay Connected
Stay connected by attending our PTA meetings, following us on Facebook or Instagram, and sharing feedback with us directly, or anonymously. If you have any questions, concerns, or ideas, please reach out. We value your input and look forward to working together to create a great experience for our students.
This is your PTA, and I’m excited to work together to make this a memorable year! If you see me around campus, please stop and say hello—I’d love to meet you.
Here’s to a wonderful year at Mill Creek Elementary!

About the PTA
The Mill Creek Elementary Parent Teacher Association (MCE PTA) is a group of community volunteers who donate their time in a variety of different ways to support our mission to provide programs and services that will enhance the learning environment, to help ensure our school and classrooms are equipped for both teaching and learning, and to work closely with our school principal to best determine how and where PTA can help. No matter what program, service, or event our PTA is sponsoring, the goal is to benefit our children!
The programs our PTA organizes and the funds we raise are entirely made possible by your monetary donations. Just as important, is the donation of your gift of time to the school. Many of the events we produce are not possible without community participation. If you are interested in volunteering please visit our Volunteer page.
