Global Community Night - Thursday, April 27th 6:00pm-8:00pm

"Global Community Night" reminds us that many of the cultures participating in the event are the global majority and we are also all within one local community.
Do you want to share your culture with other families at Mill Creek Elementary? We are looking for families to host a table representing your culture and heritage. You can host alone or partner with another family. We’ll provide you with a poster board to fill with pictures, maps, and information. You get to decide what you want to teach others. Here are some ideas to get you thinking:
• Showcase traditional/native clothing.
• Serve a traditional food (all food must be store bought, individually wrapped, nut-free and have ingredients listed).
• Share holiday traditions, favorite games, or sports.
• Display flags, artwork, books, and other artifacts that represent your country.
• Play music or share your native language.
Bring a small craft or activity for children to complete.
