Sprouts Gratitude Garden Refresh

MCE PTA has won a $20,000 grant from Sprouts Healthy Communities Foundation to refresh and build onto our school garden. We are one of 24 schools that won the grant - and the only one in WA state. All schools started their garden build on Saturday, September 23. Thank you so much to Sprouts Healthy Communities Foundation and our local Sprouts store for their help – and all the volunteers who gave their time! We still need to put up the two greenhouses and complete some finishing touches on the garden and will announce volunteer opportunities in the near term.
