Hello MCE Cougars!

Welcome to a new school year! On behalf of the PTA, I am excited to welcome both returning and new families to our school community. Whether this is your first year with us or you have been part of our community for many years, we are so glad you are here.

Our mission is to ensure that every Mill Creek Elementary student and family feel welcome, valued, and included in our school community. Through fundraising, school events, enrichment programs, and community-building activities, we work together to help make our school a welcoming, engaging, and supportive place for every child.

There are many ways to participate, and every contribution matters. You can join the PTA, attend meetings, volunteer at events, help with classroom or school-wide activities, support fundraisers, or simply share your ideas. Whether you have a little time or a lot, your involvement makes a meaningful difference.

Throughout the year, we will share updates about meetings, events, volunteer opportunities, and ways to support our students and staff. Please watch for PTA communications and school announcements in your student’s backpacks and through ParentSquare (learn how to download here if you haven’t done so already) so you can stay connected and get involved in ways that work for your schedule and your family.

Thank you for being part of our school community and supporting the PTA. I look forward to a wonderful year of partnership, service, and celebration together. I hope everyone had a great first week in their new classrooms or enjoyed meeting their new Kindergarten teachers. Have a wonderful holiday weekend!

Sincerely,

Katy Boyd
